Imran Khan About

 is a Pakistani politician, former cricketer, and the current Prime Minister of Pakistan. He was born on October 5, 1952, in Lahore, Pakistan. Khan began his cricket career in the 1970s, representing Pakistan in international matches for more than 20 years.

After retiring from cricket, Imran Khan turned his attention to politics and founded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party in 1996. He contested the 2013 general elections and emerged as the third largest party in the National Assembly of Pakistan. However, he became the Prime Minister of Pakistan after his party's victory in the 2018 general elections.

As Prime Minister, Imran Khan has focused on several issues such as economic development, anti-corruption, and improving relations with neighboring countries. He has also prioritized social welfare programs, including health and education reforms.

After retiring from cricket, Imran Khan founded the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Lahore, named after his mother who died from cancer. The hospital provides free cancer treatment to underprivileged patients and is considered one of the best cancer hospitals in the region.

Imran Khan has also been actively involved in philanthropic work through his Imran Khan Foundation, which focuses on education, health, and poverty alleviation. He has also been a vocal advocate for environmental conservation and has launched various initiatives to address climate change in Pakistan.

In addition to his political and philanthropic work, Imran Khan has also authored several books, including his autobiography "Imran Khan: All Round View" and "Pakistan: A Personal History". He has received numerous awards for his contributions to cricket, philanthropy, and politics, including the Hilal-e-Imtiaz, Pakistan's second-highest civilian award.

Imran Khan has been married three times and has two sons. He is known for his charismatic personality and leadership style, which has garnered him a large following both in Pakistan and internationally.
